It’s no secret, we are utterly smitten with the hand knitted items from the small and wonderful brand myalpaca Copenhagen. The items are made from ethically sourced organic baby alpaca wool by groups of women in Peru. This set creates the perfect Outfit for every baby, it is the ultimate luxurious baby clothing birth gift. Cardigan
Because newborns cannot regulate temperature themselves, you need a thick cardigan to throw over to ward off any chill from your little one. The cardigan is incredibly warm and soft like butter and also breathable.  The three colours available are neutral and will fit all tastes.

Beanie
It is important to keep the head warm as this will be how your baby will regulate its temperature. From birth you will need this especially for the first weeks. The knit is very fine and flexible so it will actually go through all seasons for your baby and it stretches so well that it seems to fit like a glove for months and months. Wearing this and the matching cardigan your chick baby will be turning heads in the playground or on strolls outside.

Sizes: 62, 80 We recommend buying knit items slightly too big, because you can easily roll up the sleeves and as the nature of knit will grow slightly with your baby it will last you through several months. Choose 62 for Newborns and 80 for 10 months upwards. 

The beanie comes in size 80 in both sets which will fit from the very beginning the smaller babies when you roll the hat up and stretch all the way to 1 ½ years.

Care instructions: the lovely hand knitted products by myalpaca Copenhagen can be washed cold by hand or on the delicate cycle in your washing machine. Do not use a high spinning cycle for any knitted items or put them in the dryer (ever). We cannot stress this enough: do not be tempted to wash too much but air out the items and rub out stains. If you find that after months of daily use little bubbles have formed, use a pilling shaver and the items will look as good as new.
