Our Baby Sizeguide

Our baby boxes are the perfect birth gift. The baby starter sets as well as baby gift sets are intended for newborns and their first three to four months. Especially in the first months babies grow incredibly fast and sizes vary greatly by brand. This does not make it easy for gift givers and new parents to find fitting items of clothing for their baby. But no worries: we got you covered!

Here are a few guidelines to help you:

European sizes are indicated in centimetres (head to toe).

• An average Newborn in Switzerland is between 50 and 52 cm at birth. We therefore recommend buying your Starter Set in the sizes 50/56.

• Sizes vary greatly amongst brands and countries. For example Nordic or German brands tend to fall on the larger scale, whilst French and Spanish tend to be very small. This is why the sizes indicated on the products in our boxes may vary. Everything is intended, however, to fit from the beginning. If you have doubts do not hesitate to contact us.

• We chose bodies in the sizes 50/56 because it is important that they fit correctly to keep your delicate newborn snug and warm.

• Knitted items are super versatile and at the beginning you can easily roll sleeves and legs up. Therefore, you can size up slightly and buy the sizes 56/ 62. As they also grow with your baby they will last you a good several months.  

• To make it easier for you we have added sizing in months to the boxes and included whether an item of clothing falls on the larger or smaller side in the descriptions. You see, you really cannot go wrong with our baby boxes. We have thought of everything.
